Metal Removal Fluids – CUT-MAX 906-10

Description

CUT-MAX 906-10 is based on Syn2Oil base oil technology with extremely low aromatic content. This base oil provides outstanding values regarding flashpoint, air release, foam behaviour, odour and colour. A combination of polar, extreme pressure and anti-wear additives provides the oil with high load-carrying properties. The oil provides good surface finish of the machined work pieces.

CUT-MAX 906-10 is free from Chlorine, active Sulphur and heavy metals (Zinc).

Applications

UT-MAX 906-10 is used for grinding steel with CBN and ceramic grinding wheels at high cutting speeds. Its main application is in gear manufacturing processes where, in addition to the gear grinding, the high EP power of the oil makes it suitable for cutting operations.

CUT-MAX 906-10 has copper corrosion of 1b (ASTM D 130) which allows the lubrication of hydrostatics in machine tools.
